Warm-up matches for the International Cricket Council (ICC) Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 are scheduled to be played from 2–6 February across Sri Lanka and India, with teams using the fixtures to fine-tune squads ahead of the tournament opener on Saturday (7), the ICC has announced.
The line-up includes high-profile games such as India against South Africa on Wednesday (4) in Navi Mumbai, while Pakistan will meet Ireland in Colombo the same day.
Afghanistan, the West Indies, Australia, and several associate nations will also take part in the pre-tournament clashes.
Sri Lanka is set to feature in warm-up action through their development side, while venues in Colombo, Bengaluru, Chennai, and Navi Mumbai will host the practice matches.
Both co-host Sri Lanka and England will not take part in official warm-up matches as the two teams are already involved in an ongoing bilateral series during the same period.
The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 will last until 8 March, with 20 teams competing across India and Sri Lanka.
