Indonesia’s Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Muhammad Anis Matta concluded an official visit to Sri Lanka from23 to 25 April.
He held bilateral talks with Deputy Foreign Minister Arun Hemachandra, focusing on trade, political consultations, and strengthening bilateral ties.
Both sides agreed to advance high-level exchanges, maritime cooperation, cultural links, and people-to-people connectivity.
During a meeting with Foreign Minister Vijitha Herath, discussions covered finalising agreements on political consultations and visa exemptions for diplomatic and official passports.
The two sides also noted plans to mark 75 years of diplomatic relations in 2027 and to hold future joint engagements.
