Former National Transport Commission (NTC) Chairman Renuka Perera has been arrested by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC).

CIABOC stated that Perera was arrested in connection with an incident involving the alleged unlawful issuance of bus route permits.
