Vogue India recently featured Naomi Campbell in its “in the bag” segment, where the supermodel gave us a peek into her Fendi Peekaboo bag, the contents of which included our very own Samahan. Many shared the video on social media, along with their own Samahan-related memories.

Pulling out a sachet of ginger tea as well as the familiar Samahan, Campbell said: “These are my teas. Ginger’s good for everything. It’s good for digestion, it’s good for the tummy, it keeps you warm. Very strong and very potent. And this one is Samahan, which is a good tea for your immune system.”

Other items Campbell carried in her bag are eight iPods for uninterrupted music at all times, hand sanitizer and a mask, Pat McGrath makeup, potassium powder, and rosary beads.

The video, posted on 2 March, has brought together fans of the supermodel, with one user commenting: “I love that Naomi takes care of her health. I’ve seen her other videos where she cleans her plane seat and takes her vitamins. Very educational and she’s looking amazing.”

Calling the supermodel a living goddess, one user said: “If she suggests vitamins and herbal tea, I’m taking that advice,” while another pointed out that they never thought they would have in their bag an item Naomi Campbell also carried with her, referring to Samahan.

One user commented: “As a Sri Lankan, I'm very proud to note that she carries sachets of Samahan in her bag, a Sri Lankan Ayurveda medicinal tea made for cold and flu.”
