Roshan Allang was elected President of the Colombo Malay Cricket Club (CMCC) – the oldest cricket club in Sri Lanka – at its 153rd Annual General Meeting (AGM), held on 23 February.
Allang played a pivotal role in the CMCC gaining a promotion to Tier ‘B’ of the Sri Lanka Cricket tournament following a historic Governor’s Trophy triumph in 2022.
A former President of Lanka Lions in the UAE, he served as General Secretary and Club captain prior to heading the CMCC.
