Prime Minister(PM)Harini Amarasuriya held a series of bilateral meetings in the Philippines during her official visit from 9-11 March.

Discussions focused on strengthening cooperation in education, higher education, technical skills development and agricultural research.

She met Sonny Angara and officials of the Commission on Higher Education and Technical Education and Skills Development Authority.

The Prime Minister’s Media Division noted that talks also covered research collaboration, academic partnerships and student and faculty exchanges between the two countries.
