Representatives of the Sri Lanka Broadcasters’ Guild met with UN Resident Coordinator Marc-André Franche at the UN Office in Colombo. 

The discussion centered on current local and international media trends and developments in the broadcasting sector. 

Key legislative issues, including the Prevention of Terrorism Act (PTA) and the Right to Information Act, were also on the agenda.
