The Committee on High Posts of Parliament approved nominations for two Heads of Mission and a Ministry Secretary.

Nirmala Indumathie Dias Paranavitana was approved as Sri Lanka’s Ambassador to the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and Permanent Representative to the African Union.

Professor Mohamed Ibrahim Fazeeha Azmi was approved as Ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Iran.

K.A. Vimalenthirarajah was approved as Secretary to the Ministry of Trade, Commerce, Food Security and Cooperative Development.
