President Anura Kumara Dissanayake will undertake a State Visit to Vietnam from 4–6 May, 2025, at the invitation of President Luong Cuong. 

He will hold high-level talks, attend the UN Day of Vesak as Chief Guest, and sign several agreements to strengthen bilateral ties. 

The visit marks 55 years of diplomatic relations between Sri Lanka and Vietnam.
