Former SriLankan Airlines CEO Kapila Chandrasena was granted bail by the Colombo Magistrate’s Court.

He was arrested over the alleged acceptance of a US$ 2 million bribe linked to Airbus procurement.

The court ordered cash bail of Rs. 500,000 and three sureties of Rs. 10 million each.

An overseas travel ban was also imposed on the suspect.
