Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) National Organiser and Member of Parliament Namal Rajapaksa extended congratulations to Joseph Vijay Chandrasekhar over the Tamil Nadu Assembly election result.

In a post on X, he noted that the next phase of governance is now beginning.

Rajapaksa also expressed hope for a stronger and more positive relationship between Sri Lanka and India.
