Litro Gas Lanka stated that a vessel carrying gas is scheduled to arrive in the region every three days, ensuring a steady supply.

Chairman Channa Gunawardena stated that sufficient stocks are available to meet the country’s requirements until the end of April.

He noted that current reserves are being stored in facilities located in Maldives.

He further said that a vessel carrying 33,000 metric tonnes of gas from the United States is expected to reach the Maldives shortly, with another shipment of the same quantity scheduled to arrive on 20 April.

Gunawardena assured that all necessary steps are being taken to ensure uninterrupted gas supply and to meet national demand without disruption.
