The Ambassadors of Brazil and Cuba met with Deputy Minister Arun Hemachandra to discuss enhancing bilateral relations. 

Talks covered cooperation in trade, education, healthcare, and agriculture, with Cuba proposing a José Martí statue in Colombo and Brazil offering technical aid. 

Both envoys pledged support as Sri Lanka seeks deeper ties with Latin America and the Caribbean.
