The Secretary General of Parliament Kushani Rohanadheera announced that an information counter will be available today (19) and tomorrow (20) to assist newly elected MPs.
The counter will operate from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Parliament complex, providing essential documents, parliamentary identity cards, and fingerprint recording for electronic voting.
According to the Secretary General, MPs can either visit the counter in person or register online, with fingerprinting also required.
She also highlighted that over two-thirds of the newly elected MPs are first-timers and added that a three-day workshop will be held from 25 to 27 November to train them on parliamentary procedures.
