Nuwara Eliya, often affectionately called “Little England,” has secured its place as the second most popular hill station in Asia according to Agoda’s recent list of must-visit destinations. 

The picturesque Sri Lankan hill town was praised for its lush tea plantations, mild climate, and colonial-era architecture that evoke the charm of a bygone era.

Agoda highlighted Nuwara Eliya’s enduring appeal as a serene retreat where visitors can unwind amidst tranquil surroundings, explore sprawling tea estates, and visit historic landmarks. 

The list features hill stations across Asia renowned for their natural beauty and cultural richness, with India’s Shimla taking the top spot. Other notable destinations include Cameron Highlands, Sapa, Bandung, Thimphu, Munnar, and Dalat.
