At least 20 people were injured after a passenger bus veered off the road and plunged into a precipice in the Wataragala Estate area on the Hatton–Dikoya road today (29).

The bus was travelling from Dayagama to Hatton at the time of the accident.

The injured were reported following the incident this afternoon.
