Two private buses travelling from Kandy to Hatton collided in the Peragolla area of Ginigathhena, according to police.

No passengers were injured, but both buses were damaged. Police have taken the buses into custody.

The drivers have been ordered to appear before the Hatton Magistrate’s Court tomorrow(17) over allegations of speeding and reckless driving.
