A three-year-old child died after being run over by a tractor in Murasumoddai, Kilinochchi, yesterday (21).

Police stated that the child fell from the trailer while a relative was manoeuvring the tractor in the family’s yard.

The child was taken to Kilinochchi District General Hospital but later died from the injuries. The tractor driver has been arrested.
