A double cab transporting a stock of avocados veered off the road and overturned into a tea estate below the Hatton-Colombo main road early this morning (16).

According to Police, the driver of the cab and one passenger, who sustained injuries during the accident, were admitted to the Divisional Hospital Watawala for treatment.

Police also added that 4 four individuals were travelling in the vehicle at the time of the accident.
