Prime Minister (PM) Harini Amarasuriya arrived in Canada on 24 June to participate in the Commonwealth of Learning (COL) Board of Governors meeting in Vancouver.

She was welcomed by senior officials from the British Columbia government, the COL, and Sri Lanka’s High Commission in Ottawa, with support from Global Affairs Canada.

During her visit, Amarasuriya also engaged with Sri Lankan community members and religious leaders at a special event in Surrey titled “An Evening with Dr. Harini Amarasuriya.”
