Dulan Sanjula, the owner of the tattoo studio in Athurugiriya, has made a confidential statement before the Kaduwela Magistrate over the recent shooting and killing of two individuals including Surendra Wasantha Perera alias ‘Club Wasantha’. 

Club Wasantha and another were shot dead during the opening of the said studio recently while a number of others sustained gunshot injuries. 

Regarding this incident, it is suspected that it is a contract killing masterminded by an organised crime suspect believed to be living overseas. Several suspects have been taken into custody over the same.
