The Police reported over 3,600 road accidents nationwide from January 1 to March 2, 2026. 

During this period, there were 405 fatal crashes, causing 422 deaths.  

In addition, 866 accidents were classified as serious, while 1,730 resulted in minor injuries. Property damage was reported in 641 incidents. 

Authorities continue to emphasise road safety measures to reduce accidents and save lives.
