President Anura Kumara Dissanayake is scheduled to leave for India tomorrow(17) to attend the India AI Impact Summit 2026 in New Delhi.

He will participate in the summit at the invitation of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

According to the President’s Media Division(PMD), he is expected to address the summit on 19 February.

The five-day event will bring together Heads of State from 20 countries and representatives from over 45 nations to discuss the future of artificial intelligence.

The President is also scheduled to hold bilateral talks with Prime Minister Modi and other world leaders during the visit.
