The Cabinet of Ministers has approved Sri Lanka’s participation in the Global Coalition for Social Justice, an international platform under the International Labour Organization. 

The move allows the Ministry of Labour to coordinate efforts on behalf of the government, promoting social justice, decent work, increased women’s workforce participation, worker protections, and strengthened social security measures across public and private sectors.
