The National Super League 2024 four-day tournament commenced yesterday (18) at the SSC, Colombo, and MRICS, Hambantota.
The five-team tournament is the country’s elite domestic competition, which is played by the top-performing first-class cricketers and Sri Lankan national players, both present and former.
The players for the NSL tournament were selected based on the individual performances of the concluded Major Club 3-day tournament.
Galle, Dambulla, Colombo, Kandy, and Jaffna compete for the top slot.
The competition in total will have 20 games in the first round, while the top two teams will qualify for the finals to be played from 30 April to 3 May at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium.
