Several Sri Lankan cricketers have signed with various franchises for the upcoming Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), enhancing team rosters with experienced international talent. 

All-rounder Thisara Perera will play for Dhaka Capitals, while Chittagong Kings have secured Angelo Mathews and Binura Fernando. 

Lahiru Samarakkon joins Durbar Rajshahi, and Fortune Barisal has signed star batter Pathum Nissanka. 

The tournament is set to begin on 27 December, 2024, promising an exciting mix of local and international players.
