The Cabinet has approved Rs. 150 million to support the implementation of the e-Court Project, a key national initiative to digitalize Sri Lanka’s judicial system.
The project will expand the electronic case management system and website currently used by the Supreme Court to all courts islandwide, aiming to reduce case delays, improve transparency, and enhance efficiency.
The funding will be provided to the Judicial Service Commission under the Clean Sri Lanka Project, in line with the IMF Reform Agenda 2026–2030.
