Minister Susil Ranasinghe noted that the next water tariff revision will take place on 30 June.

The Minister of Housing, Construction and Water Supply stated that water charges are reviewed twice a year based on prevailing conditions.

He further noted that the upcoming revision will be implemented according to the situation existing by 30 June.

The remarks come as revised electricity tariffs came into effect from today (11) for consumers using more than 180 units.
