Members of Sri Lanka’s Civil Security Department donated a day’s salary, amounting to Rs. 40,870,686, to the Rebuilding Sri Lanka Fund. 

The donation was handed over at the Presidential Secretariat by G.Y.B. Perera to Secretary to the President Nandika Sanath Kumanayake yesterday (22).

Senior officials, including Ravi Seneviratne and Major General Palitha Fernando (Retired), were present for the ceremony. 

The fund aims to support recovery efforts after Cyclone Ditwah.
