UGC announces appeal deadline and registration commencement for 2022/2023 academic year

The University Grants Commission (UGC) announced that appeals related to the 2022/2023 academic year will be accepted until 30 December.

The commission stated that the registration of students for university admission will commence within the next two weeks.

UGC also stated that relevant instructions will be provided through an SMS message to the phone number provided by the students.

Accordingly, UGC noted that next month, students will be admitted for the 2022/2023 academic year.

The Chairman of UGC Sampath Amaratunga stated that 42,145 students will be admitted in the initial round.
