The Cabinet has approved establishing a National Digital Communication and Collaboration Platform for all government employees.

The platform, including AI tools, aims to modernise public sector operations in line with Sri Lanka’s digital economy strategy.

The project will be implemented in 2026 with an estimated investment of Rs. 626 million.

The proposal was presented by the President as Minister of Digital Economy.
