Prime Minister(PM) Harini Amarasuriya stated that web links will be fully removed from education modules for all grades in the second and third school terms.

She told Parliament today (09) that the decision was taken by the Academic Affairs Board of the National Institute of Education.

The Prime Minister clarified that internet use is not mandatory for teaching, and all required content is included in the Teacher’s Guide.

She added that further teacher training will be conducted before the new school term begins.
