President Anura Kumara Dissanayake will launch compensation payments and housing projects for Cyclone Ditwah victims in Kandy tomorrow(06).

Compensation will be distributed to affected families and businesses at the Kundasale Central Provincial Council Auditorium.

Families whose houses were destroyed will receive the first instalment of a Rs. 5 million package, with Rs. 2 million issued initially.

The President will also inaugurate housing construction projects and attend the launch of the Mahaiyawa Tunnel and the resumption of the Gatambe flyover project.
