A total of 802 individuals were arrested during island-wide raids conducted yesterday (09) under the theme “Nation United – National Drive,” aimed at eliminating narcotics from the country, police said.
According to the daily report, 791 raids were carried out, with the majority—588 operations—targeting heroin and “Ice” (crystal methamphetamine). Eleven suspects have been referred for rehabilitation, while investigations have been launched into three individuals over illegal assets. Detention orders have also been obtained for 15 suspects.
During the operations, police seized 120 grams of hashish and 138 narcotic pills.
