The Department of Meteorology has issued a warning for strong winds and rough seas around Sri Lanka today (15). 

Winds may reach up to 60 kmph, with wave heights of 2.5–3.0 meters expected from Puttalam to Pottuvil via Colombo, Galle, and Hambantota. 

Naval and fishing communities are urged to remain cautious.
