Train services on the upcountry line have been restricted due to prevailing adverse weather conditions, authorities confirmed.

The night mail train scheduled to run from Colombo Fort to Badulla will now operate only up to the Nanu Oya station. 

Similarly, the night mail service from Badulla to Colombo will commence its journey from Nanu Oya. 

Passengers are advised to note the disruption affecting the vital upcountry route.
