The Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) has declared 27 companies, mobile applications and related entities to be prohibited schemes under Section 83(C) of the Banking Act No. 30 of 1988, as amended.

The list includes Max App Media, Tiens Lanka Health Care, Qnet/Questnet, OnmaxDT, MTFE and Sport Chain.

The CBSL stated that investigations found Max App Media Ltd. and its affiliated companies had engaged in and promoted a prohibited scheme.

The Central Bank has urged the public to exercise caution when dealing with the listed entities and applications.
