The Ministry of Health (MOH) has launched National Mosquito Control Week from 30 June to 5 July to combat rising dengue cases, with over 11,000 reported in April and May.
Around 1,500 new cases emerge weekly, largely due to ongoing rains.
The campaign targets high-risk areas across multiple provinces, with support from the tri-forces, police, and community groups.
Mobile teams will inspect and eliminate mosquito breeding sites nationwide.
