Sri Lanka has been removed from the Netball World Youth Cup 2025 in Gibraltar after the team was unable to secure visas in time to travel. 

The decision by World Netball also affects Zambia, which faced similar issues.

As a result, Sri Lanka's opponents in Pool C - England, Jamaica, and Tonga were awarded wins by default. 

World Netball expressed regret over the outcome, stating they remain committed to supporting the nations' ongoing involvement in the sport.
