A pirith chanting to bless Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena on the completion of two years after assumption of office was held last Monday (22) at the Prime Minister’s Office.

The Maha Sangha including Dharmarakshita Chapter of Sri Lanka Amarapura Nikaya Anunayaka Rajakeeya Panditha Ven. Watagedara Wimalabuddhi Thera, Narahenpita Abhayaramaya Chief Incumbent Ven. Muruththettuwe Ananda Thera, Ven. Demalussaya Medhankara Thera, Ven. Borelle Athula Thera, and Kirulapana Pushparamaya Chief Incumbent Ven. Elkaduwe Nagitha Thera chanted pirith and blessed the Prime Minister.

MPs Yadamini Gunawardena, Secretary to the Prime Minister Anura Dissanayake, and officials and staff of the Prime Minister’s Office joined this occasion.
