Train services on the Upcountry railway line are set to resume today (2), following a nearly 10-month suspension, the Railway Department announced.
Services from Colombo to Peradeniya and Gampola will recommence from today, Railway Transport Superintendent Asanka Samarasinghe stated.
Train operations on the Upcountry line had been suspended for approximately 10 months following the impact of Cyclone Ditwah.
