Colombo's annual inflation, measured by the Colombo Consumer Price Index (CCPI), increased to 7.3% in July 2026, up from 6.8% in June, according to the Department of Census and Statistics.

Food inflation rose to 6.3%, while non-food inflation eased to 7.8% during the same period.
