The Government Radiological Technologists Association has reported that 3 out of 5 radiation machines at Apeksha Hospital, Maharagama, have broken down.

Chairman Chanaka Dharmawickrama stated that this has disrupted radiation treatment for approximately 250 cancer patients daily.

He urged authorities to take immediate action to repair the machines and resume treatments.
