Under the Government’s national digitalization drive, a bank card–based bus fare payment system has been introduced in the Uva Province.

Bus owners under the Uva Province Passenger Transport Authority have agreed to roll out the facility across all buses in the coming months, following an awareness program held in Badulla, the Ministry of Digital Economy stated.
