The National Building Research Organisation (NBRO) has issued Level 2 landslide warnings for several areas in the Kegalle and Ratnapura districts due to ongoing heavy rainfall.

The amber alerts are in effect until 5:00 p.m. tomorrow(25) for Dehiowita, Deraniyagala, Ruwanwella, Yatiyanthota, Kuruwita, Ratnapura, Eheliyagoda and Ayagama.

Level 1 landslide warnings have also been issued for selected areas in Colombo, Gampaha, Kalutara, Kegalle, Nuwara Eliya and Ratnapura districts.
