Sri Lanka’s Athletics Selection Committee has resigned, citing several reasons for the decision.

The committee members submitted their resignation letter to the Secretary of the Ministry of Sports today (27).

The members of the Athletics Selection Committee are:

D.A. Dayaratne

Former Assistant Director of Sports

Col. M.K.P. Jayasekara

Former national athlete and record holder

Ravi Vidyalankara

Former public school record holder
