The Colombo Fort Magistrate’s Court has ordered the CID to produce former State Intelligence Service Chief Major General (Retd.) Suresh Sallay on 22 April.

He is being held under a 90-day detention order over investigations into the 2019 Easter Sunday attacks.

Sallay was briefly hospitalised and has since returned to CID custody, the court noted.
