The National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) has announced a 12-hour water cut for Homagama and nearby areas (Zone 01) today (6).

According to an official statement, the ongoing water supply suspension in Padukka and surrounding regions will end at 8:00 a.m today. 

A new water cut will be imposed in Homagama and its surrounding areas from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. due to dry weather conditions that have affected water availability.  

The NWSDB cited these weather conditions as the main reason for the temporary supply limitations, urging residents to plan accordingly.
