Traffic in several parts of Kelaniya will be restricted from 3.00 pm today(23) due to the annual school procession organised by Helena Balika Vidyalaya in connection with the Duruthu Perahera of Kelaniya Raja Maha Viharaya, police stated.

The procession will travel via Galborella, Walankada Junction and Biyagama Road before entering the temple near the Kelanisiri Roundabout.

Police noted that multiple road closures and diversions will be in place until the Perahera concludes, and motorists are advised to use alternative routes and follow police instruction.
