The Interim Secretariat for Truth and Reconciliation Mechanism (ISTRM) has launched its official website, aiming to address post-conflict grievances and facilitate reconciliation and sustainable peace in Sri Lanka. 

The ISTRM, established to prevent future conflicts and promote harmony among the country's diverse communities, will review and implement recommendations from previous commissions, including the Lessons Learnt and Reconciliation Commission (LLRC) and the 2006 Consultation Task Force on Reconciliation Mechanisms.

The Commission is developing a legal and policy framework for truth, reconciliation, and national unity, involving public and stakeholder participation to ensure a transformative and inclusive process.
